Non ci volevamo credere, assurdo!

We didn't want to believe it, absurd!

Now let's assume that the family alternates between frying chips and fried fish, requiring slightly different amounts of oil. So, let's assume that, on average, they use slightly more oil than a single standard frying.
Assumptions for the calculation:
1. Oil consumption without an air fryer:
To fry chips and fried fish, we assume a consumption of around 0.75 litres of oil per week.
Annual consumption: 0.75 litres x 52 weeks = 39 litres.
Annual cost of oil: 39 liters x €8/liter = €312.
2. Oil consumption with air fryer :
With the air fryer, even for fattier foods like chips and fish, the amount of oil remains low, around one tablespoon (15 ml) per week.
Annual consumption: 15 ml x 52 weeks = 780 ml, equal to 0.78 litres.
Annual cost of oil: 0.78 liters x €8/liter ≈ €6.24.
3. Annual savings:
Savings on oil: €312 - €6.24 = €305.76.
Bottom line: If the family switched to an air fryer for chips and fried fish, they would save around €306 a year on oil.
