Magnetic Recipe: Stringy Zucchini Rolls with Combined Cooking

Crispy and stringy rolls in 15 minutes thanks to the air fryer + induction

If you're short on time but still want a tasty and healthy dish, this magnetic recipe is perfect for you! Today we're making grilled zucchini rolls with a gooey cheese center, using the winning combination : induction hob + air fryer .

Ingredients for 2 people:

  • 2 medium courgettes

  • 80g of stringy cheese (scamorza, block mozzarella or vegetable alternative)

  • 4 slices of cooked or smoked ham (optional)

  • Wholemeal breadcrumbs

  • Oregano, sweet paprika, black pepper

  • A drizzle of extra virgin olive oil (optional)

⚡ Smart Procedure:

1. Quick grilling on induction

Cut the courgettes into thin slices (lengthwise) using a mandolin.
Heat a non-stick griddle or pan on the induction hob to level 7 .
Grill each slice for about 1 minute per side . 5 minutes is enough for all of them.

2. Preparation of rolls

On each slice, place a piece of cheese and, if you like, a strip of ham.
Roll up and secure with a toothpick.
Coat the rolls in breadcrumbs flavored with spices.

3. Crispy browning in the air fryer

Arrange the rolls in the basket, drizzle with a little extra virgin olive oil and cook at 180°C for 8-9 minutes .

The Magnetic Trick:

Get ahead of the game!
While you grill the zucchini on the induction hob, preheat the air fryer . This will reduce downtime and optimize energy consumption.

✔ Result: crispy on the outside and creamy on the inside, without turning on the oven or dirtying a thousand pans.

Why does this combination work?

  • Induction : heats up quickly, cooks precisely, cleans in a flash.

  • Air fryer : crispiness without excess oil, perfect for light breading.

  • Together : you cook faster, save energy and don't overheat the kitchen.
